1. Who is responsible

Brokie Casino is operated by Arcidos, Keurenplein 41, D1333, 1069 CD Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce/KVK 74882120), the controller of your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: privacy@brokiecasino.com. This policy covers the website, the Telegram bot and Mini App, the Discord Activity and our iPhone and Android apps.

2. What we collect

• From Discord: your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar (the “identify” permission), and the server and channel an Activity runs in, including how many people are in it. If you allow it, we also use Discord’s “activities.write” permission to show on your Discord profile which game you are playing (never a balance or a price). Our bot checks whether your linked Discord account is in the Brokie Casino Discord server, to offer and give its join reward, and reads from your Discord profile whether you wear that server’s tag, to add its bonus to your free claims (checked when you sign in, when you tap “Check my tag” and every few hours). We do not read your messages or email address.
• Your Discord friends, only if you allow it: in the Discord Activity you can let us see your Discord friends list (Discord’s “relationships.read” permission) to show which of your friends play Brokie Casino. Your device sends the list to us when you open Friends; we compare it at that moment with the Discord accounts linked to Brokie Casino and answer with the players among them. We do not store your friends list.
• From Telegram: your Telegram user ID, name and username, and the ID and title of groups where you use the bot. Telegram tells us whether you are a member of a group before you play at its table. The same applies when you sign in to our app with Telegram.
• From Apple or Google, when you sign in with them in our app: the stable account ID Apple or Google gives our app, and the name, email address or profile picture that Apple or Google shares for sign-in, if any. With Apple you can hide your email address. We use this to sign you in and never to send you marketing.
• Your email address, when you sign in with email: we keep your email address and a scrambled form of your password, never the password itself. We use them to sign you in and to send you sign-in codes and messages about your account, never marketing. They are deleted with your account.
• What you do in the game: your chosen display name and avatar, balances, bets, rounds and results, chess moves, quests, season progress, cosmetics, gifts and duels, linked accounts and notification settings, your friends and the players you block or mute, the messages you send to friends, in table chat, in the casino chat and in your clan's chat, the clan you are in and the cheers you give, your emoji reactions to those messages, the compliments you leave on a friend's casino, the chat messages you report, and when you confirmed that you are 18 or older.
• Purchases: what you bought, when, the price, the Discord, Telegram, Apple or Google payment or transaction reference, refunds, and for VIP when it renews and whether you stopped renewal. For App Store and Google Play purchases we receive the transaction or order ID, the product and its dates, and we give the store a random purchase ID for your account (never your player ID or name) so a purchase reaches the right account. Card and bank details stay with Telegram, Discord, Apple, Google and their payment providers.
• Our phone apps: a random install ID made when the app is first opened, your phone’s operating system and its version, and the app version. If you allow notifications, the push token your phone gives the app. We never collect your phone’s advertising ID or another device ID.
• Usage statistics: which screens you open, the steps of onboarding, the steps of a purchase (opened, bought, cancelled, failed), what you shared and errors in the app, each with the time, the install ID, your player ID once you are signed in, where you play (Telegram, Discord, our app or the website), the app and system version and a few details such as the screen’s name, the onboarding step, the product or an error’s message and place in the code. No IP address, name, chat text or game round is stored with them. See section 4.
• Invites: who invited you and when, to credit invite rewards and stop abuse; for a Discord account we also look at how old the account is.
• How you found us: when you start, we note where you signed up (Discord, Telegram, our app or the website), the account you signed in with, the kind of link you came through (such as an invite or a table link, never its code), your device’s language and time zone settings, the app version, and your answer to “How did you find Brokie Casino?” if you give one. We use it to see what brings new players. No IP address is stored with it.
• Location: when you open the game in Telegram or sign in to our app, we look up the country of your IP address in a database on our own server, to keep the game out of countries where it is not offered. We do not store your location. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
• Technical data: IP address and request details in server logs, used for security and to fix problems.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

• Running the game and your account, including signing in, linking accounts, purchases and notifications you asked for (performance of our contract with you).
• Security, fairness and preventing abuse, such as rate limits and stopping multi-accounting (our legitimate interest in a safe, fair game).
• Messages from the bot and notifications on your phone about your rewards, turns, invites, gifts and account, as set in your notification settings, which you can change or switch off at any time (legitimate interest, or your consent where required, for example the phone’s permission for notifications). News and updates from our team, such as a new game or an event, come at most once every 3 days; they are on in Discord and Telegram until you switch them off, and reach your phone only after you switch them on in the app.
• Showing which Discord friends play (your consent, given in Discord; you can withdraw it in Discord’s settings).
• Usage statistics and how you found us, to see what works and fix what does not (our legitimate interest in improving the game; you can object at any time with the switch in Settings).
• Records of purchases that the law requires us to keep, and handling refunds and payment support (legal obligation and contract).
• Checking your age and where you connect from, to follow gambling and consumer laws (legal obligation and our legitimate interest).
• Invite rewards and preventing invite abuse (our legitimate interest).

4. Usage statistics

We keep our own usage statistics on our own server. There is no third-party analytics or advertising code in the game or the apps, and the statistics are never sold, shared for advertising or used to show you ads. They are kept for 13 months and then deleted. You can switch them off at any time with Share usage stats in Settings; after that the app sends none.

5. What other players see

Your display name, avatar, nameplate, cosmetics and wins can appear to other players: at shared tables, on leaderboards and competitions, in groups where you play, and in clips you choose to share. Players at a table read what you write in its chat. Anyone who can read a chat message sees its emoji reactions and how many players left each one. Every player can read what you write in the casino chat, and the casino chat also shows your big wins, jackpots, bonuses, chess results and milestones such as joining or reaching the Shop, with your name and the game (never your balance). Your friends see your profile, whether you are in the game right now and at which game, and the messages you send them. Your clan's name, tag and emblem show after your name and on your profile. The members of your clan read what you write in its chat and see your points for the clan each week. If a Discord friend of yours allowed it, they can see that you play Brokie Casino, if your Discord account is linked to it.

When you play a slot at a shared table (the Everyone table, a group’s table or a shared room), players who could sit at that table can watch your rounds as you play them. While they watch, they also see your balance as it stood after each of those rounds. Rounds you play on your own (“Just me”) are never watched, and players you blocked, or who blocked you, cannot watch you.

On Discord, when you start the game in a server channel, our bot may post once in that channel, naming who started it and that server’s top three single-round wins (display names only). In the Brokie Casino Discord server our bot also posts Texas Hold’em tables opened on the Everyone floor (who opened it, the stakes and how many seats are taken), single-round wins of 100 times the bet or more and jackpots, and a daily recap of the best wins, always with display names and never a balance. If you allow it, your Discord profile shows which Brokie Casino game you are playing. If you are VIP and linked a Discord account, you get the VIP role in the Brokie Casino Discord server while VIP is on. To keep the Brokie Casino Discord server free of slurs, we may check its recent messages for them. We only count them and store nothing.

6. Who we share data with

• DigitalOcean hosts our servers and backups, in Amsterdam (EU), as our processor.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service deliver notifications to our phone apps, as our processors. They receive your push token and the text of the notification.
• Postmark sends our sign-in emails, as our processor. It receives your email address and the text of the email.
• Discord, Telegram, Apple and Google receive what is needed to sign you in and to show the game to you there, under their own privacy policies. When you pay through them, they handle the payment as independent controllers under their own privacy policies; we receive the transaction details listed above, never your card details.
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Our servers and backups are in the EU. Discord, Telegram, Apple and Google, including Firebase, and Postmark may process data in other countries, such as the United States. Where they do so for us, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Cookies and storage on your device

This website sets no cookies. Inside the game, your device stores a short-lived sign-in token and small preferences (such as sound on/off) in local storage, and our phone apps also keep the install ID and your notification setting. They are needed for the game to work. None of them tracks you across other apps or websites.

9. How long we keep it

• Account and game data: while your account exists. When you delete it, see section 10.
• An account closed when you merged two accounts: kept, unable to sign in, for support and fraud prevention, and deleted when you ask.
• Table chat and clan chat: 24 hours. Casino chat: 7 days. Clan week points: kept for the season. Messages between friends: 90 days. A reaction is deleted with its message. Compliments on a friend's casino: 7 days.
• Reports of casino chat messages: our staff review each report with the reported message; the report is deleted with the message after 7 days.
• Push tokens, with your phone’s system and app version: until you sign out of the app or delete your account; a token Apple or Google reports as no longer valid is switched off. “Phone notifications” in Settings, or your phone’s own settings, stops the notifications.
• Sign-in codes sent by email: they work for 15 minutes.
• Usage statistics: 13 months.
• How you found us: while your account exists.
• Server logs: briefly. They rotate automatically and are removed whenever the server software is updated. Backups: 7 days.
• Purchase records: up to 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app under Settings › Delete account, or by sending /deleteaccount to our Telegram bot. You can also ask us without the app: see Delete your account. You confirm first, and the deletion is final: we cannot restore the account afterwards.

• Deleted at once: your display name and chosen name, avatar and showcase, your linked Discord, Telegram, Apple and Google accounts, your email address and password, your friends, blocks and mutes, your messages, chat lines, reactions, compliments and reports, your clan membership, your invite link, your notification settings and waiting notifications, and your push tokens. Your usage statistics are no longer linked to your account. Of how you found us, your language, time zone, app version and link are deleted; the rest stays without your name, for our counts. Your Bucks and diamonds are emptied and your Virtual Items end with the account.
• Kept, without your name or any linked account: your purchase records for up to 7 years (tax law), and the account’s game and money history (bets, rounds, the Bucks and diamonds ledger), to keep the game’s accounts correct, handle refunds and detect fraud. If you had claimed the Brokie Casino Discord server reward or the server tag welcome, we keep the Discord account ID that claimed it, so it cannot be claimed twice.
• Copies in backups are gone within 7 days. Clips you shared to a chat stay in that chat.
• The same Discord, Telegram, Apple or Google account or email address can start a new, empty Brokie Casino account at any time.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a VIP subscription billed by Discord, Apple or Google: cancel it there. A Telegram VIP subscription is stopped for you.

11. Your rights

You may ask for access to, a copy of (portability), correction or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or ask us to restrict how we use it, including the usage statistics. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email privacy@brokiecasino.com and tell us the Telegram, Discord, Apple or Google account you play with; we may ask you to confirm the request from that account. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority in your own country.

12. Age

The Service is only for adults (18+), and we ask every player to confirm this. It is not directed at children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we close it and delete its data.

13. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), the servers are accessible only with keys held by the operator, and every request in the game is checked against your sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version; we will announce important changes in the Service.
